ARCAP – Corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic copper alloy

Corrosion resistance

ARCAP-Alloys exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in most chemical and physical environments. CLAL-MSX has extensive data on this.

Mechanical properties
  • very good formability in the annealed state (elongation up to 45%)
  • high strength in the spring-hard state (tensile strength up to > 800MPa)
Physical Properties
  • Amagnetic down to extremely low temperatures (measured up to 4.2K)
  • almost temperature-independent electrical resistance
Editing

Under normal conditions, ARCAP can be easily machined, stamped, embossed, deep-drawn, welded, soldered and electroplated.
